Who is Pink Owl Photography? 

It’s maybe everyone’s most dreaded question to answer, who are you anyway, so I’ll try my best. We are a Women Owned ( Hi, Me Geni!) portrait photography studio who focuses the majority of our time on High School Senior Portrait for Girls! I’m a mom to almost 5 year old & 19 Month old Daughters, and I feel like all the time I’ve spent in the last 10 years with my “practice children” has helped shape me to be their Momma! I started Pink Owl over 10 years ago, with one big thing on my heart. Use what I love, to help other people love themselves! And here I am 10 years laters living out my dream. I have plenty of “pinch me” moments as I get to help design & photograph creative ideas thru out the year!

We believe that everyone has beauty that surrounds them, and we make it our mission to create portraits for each of our girls that showcases their unique beauty & style. We don’t buy into the “standards of beauty” that are thrown in our faces each day, and have made it our mission to show our small community that we are all beautiful in our own way! Kindness is also Key in our studio. We believe we all have the power to impact our community in small impactful ways each day. We are here to build each other up, not tear each other down!

What Happens Now? 

After you apply to become part of our Pink Owl Team Twenty Three, we will review your applications, then start the EXTREMELY hard process of making our final selections. We will review applications first, then have review meeting with our current Team 22 girls. This might be the most anxious I get all year, because I want to choose EVERYONE, but logistically it’s just not possible . Each year I try to figure our how I can say yes to more people lol

When Will We Hear More?

Our application will be live until NOVEMBER 10th  After we receive all the applications, we will review them and then invite our final selections to a Parent/Senior meeting where we will go over our program in more detail! This give you & your parents a chance to learn more about us, ask questions & meet the other girls who will be part of our Team Twenty Three!

Why do I want to be part of Pink Owl? 

Pink Owl Teams have been described as a little sorority! Each year we bring together girls from all over the Triangle and even further to represent Pink Owl but also create a Bond thru Photo Shoots, Coffee, Travel, Parties, etc!  We like to have a a bigger group so that when we do spontaneous shoots, meet for coffee etc, if a few girls can’t make it, someone usually can, it gives us a chance to hang out, laugh, create pretty images, and for you to enjoy your senior year! We brainstorm as a group what kind of looks & locations you want for the big model shoot, and then thru out the year we get together for shoots, parties etc! Oh and did I already mention the travel? I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel, so that will definitely be happening!

• Application is live November 1st – November 10th
• There is no charge to be on the team, but you are required to have your individual senior portraits taken with Pink Owl
• Must be High School Graduating Class of 2023
